About Department:

Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) established in the year 2019 in NLDC. It is an undergraduate degree program that focuses on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of business management. The program is designed to prepare students for careers in the business world by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in managerial roles across different industries.

BMS programs typically cover a wide range of subjects, including Management Principles, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations and more. This Multidisciplinary approach ensures that students gain a well-rounded understanding of various business functions. This program usually includes a set of core courses that all students must complete, providing a durable foundation in business concepts. Additionally, students may have the opportunity to choose elective courses that align with their interest and career goals.

BMS programs incorporate practical learning experiences such as case studies, group projects, internships and workshops also emphasise the development of soft skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking. Graduates of BMS programs are well prepared for various career paths, including roles in management, marketing, finance, consulting, entrepreneurship and more.

Transform students into elite professionals.

Department Objectives:

1. To create the future professionals for the field of management (HR/Marketing/Finance).
2. To develop an entrepreneurial instinct amongst students.
3. To enhance their critical thinking ability, creativity, analytical skills, Leadership & people skills, communication skills.
4. To organize at least two seminars/ workshops during the Academic Year 2023–2024.
5. To enhance the technical knowledge and provide them hands-on experience through activities and seminars.
